At 1:10 I click a button, that is the APP button. Notice on the FMC with the weather in yellow shortly after at the top centre the runway number and CAT I I think it says come up that is when it captured the approach and I no longer did any input until landing

I was happy the wheels stayed on but I was flaps 30 I think during that and deffo didn’t want to slow down for some reason and I don’t know why

Gotta get some heat into them tyres. Might have been a little excessive but I don’t drive the F2 car a lot. It’s one of them I just booted it at the end for the final bit and it worked. I’m usually a lot more cautious to get the purple. I wasn’t expecting it getting the amount of views it has 🤣 cheers for you comment 🙏🏻

I’m normally a lot more slower and cautious while approaching the grid box but this time I gave it a boot full at the end and got the breaking point perfect. I have all the assists turned off while using a steering wheel etc. I lost audio from the clip for some reason so sadly I had to put that backing music on it

Thank you. This video was recorded quite quickly for one of the VA pilots in the airline I’m in. He was struggling with this plane. I’m surprised it’s done that well tbh and hopefully I didn’t screw to many things up 🤣

What I found with the flight yoke system I have. I had to change one of my levers from either mixture or propellor (don’t need them) into a tiller and using that turns the plane as the rudder does nothing.

Maybe you have auto rudder on, it doesn't like some planes

That’s the only one I’ve found that doesn’t want to turn using the rudder pedals. I had to set a lever as a tiller. There might be something in the settings to turn the tiller off and go back to normal. Hopefully he’s sorted it as 9 months have gone by 🤞🏻

Is the APU powered on and the switches turned into the correct position. After clicking instant load it should bring the displays to life. I’m not on the sim atm or I could have loaded it up and had a look. Everything seems to work fine for me when I do that. It wasn’t originally meant to be released as a video as I made it for a fellow VA member but I thought I’d post it same with the 737 with hoping it would help. Just keep trying with it and I hope it works

You got to click Auto Pilot and on the altitude and heading it’s either a click above or a click below the dial and it’ll change the aircraft setting and make it follow flight plan heading and also altitudes too

If you followed everything they should start. They take abit for the N1 and N2 to rise, the video was quickly put together due to doing it to help a fellow VA member out but I thought I’d release it. Everything I do on that makes the engines start everytime.

I had this same issue at first. The trick is the plane apparently can only be refueled through the tablet.

It was a pre season friendly and they bring a lot of supporters. Certainly sounded brilliant. There was even a rangers fan on the kop talking to us, sound bloke

Have you clicked the 2x battery switches and then pressed both of the APU buttons? There’s also the 3x IRS dials that need to be twisted to NAV the screens should then come on

I’d try and reinstall it. I haven’t witnessed that before.

Why can’t I turn on the batteries. They’re literally dead everytime I load into the sim
